It allows the drum head to glide smoothly over the bearing edge without effecting the sound of the drum. Waxes, soaps and petroleum products (ski wax etc.) deaden the drum head and effect the natural sound of the drum. Made from a proprietary blend of extreme high pressure lubricants and conditioners.
