It can also be placed on a stand. Unlike steel tongue drums with hammers, the sound is softer and warmer. Depending on the musician’s technique, the sound of the handpan may be similar to an ancient bell or a tuned steel tongue drum. Each sound field has several overtone resonance zones around the basic sound. PLEASE NOTE: The included beaters are only to be used for sound testing.
