Battery worked immediately after installing it. It only lasted for 3 hours of listening after charging it for 8 hrs and then red light on speaker came on until it went out for good. battery WILL NOT charge using original charger meant for speaker.VERY DISSATISFIED Battery is not as heavy/solid as original Bose battery. My original battery lasted about 5 yrs. I didn’t use it all that often as it lived in my motorhome next to the house. That being said it lived through 5 hot summers and cold winters. Maybe the extreme temperatures affected the overall battery life. But I think that’s still good. It always worked when I needed it until it just didn’t anymore.Will have to return this dud replacement battery.
